2014-2015 Season
Chamber Music Concerts

Founded in 1984, Chamber Music Concerts (CMC) is a concert presenter dedicated to bringing world-class chamber music to the Rogue Valley for the enjoyment, enrichment, and education of the Southern Oregon, Northern California, and Southern Oregon University communities. CMC is a self-supporting affiliate of the Southern Oregon University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

CMC features only the highest quality chamber groups from all over the world. Past performers include acclaimed artists such as the Tokyo, Juilliard and Emerson String Quartets; flutist Eugenia Zukerman and clarinetist Jon Manasse; pianists Angela Hewitt and Jon Nakamatsu; and baritone Sanford Sylvan and soprano Julianne Baird. Our twelve-concert season takes place from October through May, and includes eight evening concerts and four matinees. All performances take place in the acoustically excellent SOU Music Recital Hall, an intimate, 436-seat space.

In addition to concerts, CMC presents an impressive educational outreach program, which reaches diverse groups throughout the Rogue Valley community: Southern Oregon University students, area schools from elementary through high school, the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute members, retirement communities, social clubs, and the general public. CMC’s outreach programs are free and open to the public. For more information about the concert season, tickets, and educational outreach events, please call the CMC office at 541-552-6154 or email Director@ChamberMusicConcerts.org.

Chamber Music Concerts is supported in part by a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
