About Chamber Music Concerts

Founded in 1984, Chamber Music Concerts (CMC) is a concert presenter dedicated to bringing world-class chamber music to the Rogue Valley for the enjoyment, enrichment, and education of the Southern Oregon, Northern California, and Southern Oregon University communities. CMC is a self-supporting affiliate of the Southern Oregon University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

CMC past seasons have featured such acclaimed artists as the Tokyo, Juilliard and Emerson String Quartets, flutist Eugenia Zukerman, pianist Angela Hewitt, baritone Sanford Sylvan, and Quartetto Gelato. The thirteen-concert season runs September through April, including four matinees. All performances take place in the acoustically excellent SOU Music Recital Hall, an intimate, 436-seat space.

In addition to presenting chamber music, CMC has an active education program which includes such diverse groups as Southern Oregon University students, area high schools and middle schools, the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute members. These programs are free and open to the public. For more information about the concert season, tickets, and educational opportunities, please call the CMC office at 541-552-6154 or email Director@ChamberMusicConcerts.org.
