The Fauré Quartett is today’s leading European piano quartet, founded in 1995. It did not take the quartet long to win top prizes and awards such as the Deutsche Schallplattenpreis and the Parkhouse Award in Great Britain. The Fauré Quartett has quickly climbed to the top as the only German chamber ensemble of this genre.
“. . . the performance as a whole was remarkable for its lovely warmth and breadth . . . I now know what all the fuss is about, and it was well worth splashing through a dark and stormy night.” ClassicalSource.com
